I've begun to admire the wise couples, that by choice, stay childless! And also ones that wont get married. All said and done, the child is in general and in reality nowadays a practical burden to parents who struggle to make both ends meet. The trouble begins at conception - gynaceologist - then maternity hospital - Caesarian delivery by doctor's choice(!!) - fight for LKG admission, choice of *good* school, then the chain goes on.... when he grows up, tution fees (parallel college!) outside regular school/college - where does the parents create money to pay the greedy institutions and 'tution houses'? Parents wont enjoy their children in this mad rush and the child wont enjoy its childhood - he is commercialized from a raw age itself! So what's the fun? But most of us get stuck in this 'Chakravyooha'. Education is a mess among other things as well.

Anna, as we have discussed by the time our children grow up we wil be starting our university(schoolnu irlii :)) and we will give an answer what does education mean! :) Waiting to kick some buts

The problem with the rat race is that even if you manage to win it you still remain a rat !!!!!

So true brother! And I'm glad that as entrepreneurs, both of us managed to escape the rat race.

If you think Raju has a problem now, just imagine how he will turn out if his parents force him to be a Doctor or Engineer...His future certainly looks bleak.

Awesome blog post once again, UNCLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We live in a challenging nation where life is not as easy as it could be. A childs life that seems like a lost childhood and a painful struggle to you may be the opportunity a lot of children are waiting to experience. Walk through the streets at night and ask that kid who is trying to sleep in the rough if he wants to live Raju's life.

I am not advocating struggle but given our means, I am only urging us to look for a solution.

A possble solution is to learn to tame our minds. If we tame our minds then a lost childhood might even seem like a rich flourishing life(even to Raju). It is unfortunate that people have forgotten to teach their children to enjoy their karma.

I may be completely wrong but I am only searching for an answer just like you are.

When I have a son, I am 100% sending him to my own school and not to these. I would want my son to learn and not to get institutionalized.
